And yet again, Meta is bigger than ever

If I had a dollar for every time someone told me Facebook isn’t relevant anymore…

Three days before its 20th anniversary which takes place on the 4th of February, Meta released its annual report, and the stock rose by more than 20%, adding more market value than any other US company ever.

Facebook is still, by far, the largest social media platform in the world, with 3.065 billion Monthly Active Users. 69% (!) of them, which is 2.11 Billion are Daily Active Users.

In the family of apps – Facebook, Instagram, Messenger and WhatsApp – the company has 3.98 billion Monthly Active users. 80% (!!) of them or 3.19 billion, are Daily Active Users.

But that’s not the only/main reason why the stock surged.

Meta issued the first-ever dividends to stakeholders, tripled its profit, and saw revenue rise by 25% in Q4 2023 compared to the same period the previous year.

So you know… As I’ve repeatedly shared here – maybe you should think twice before declaring Facebook and Meta as dead or outdated.

No matter what your personal opinion is, it’s alive and thriving, and as a person who’s selling something to someone, you should do something about it.
