Inside
Things I Enjoy
Here’s a mix of the things I enjoy, the projects I’ve poured myself into over the years, and a few chapters I’m proud to have been part of. It’s not meant to be polished – just real.
Running
I started running in 2017 with very humble 1–1.5 km outings, slowly building up until 10 km became my “normal.” I’ve run thousands of kilometers since, and I just keep going – it’s a habit that supports my health in every possible way.
Wherever I travel, the first thing I do is head out for a run. It’s my favorite way to get a feel for a place and spend time outside.
Woman’s Best Friend
I absolutely love dogs – especially our very own Chausette and Juk. The hardest part of having pets is knowing we’ll outlive them, and that’s exactly what happened with Bamba. It broke my heart, but I wouldn’t trade the time I had with her for anything.
Krav Maga
Around that time, I went back to my Israeli roots and started practicing Krav Maga – initially in my backyard, with two coaches who each have their own kind of Mauritian fame (one in politics, the other a singer). Sport has always been a no-brainer for me (and let’s be honest, at my age it’s also very much a must 😉).
Of course, there are days when getting myself out of the house for a run still feels like a full negotiation.
Like most people living in the internet age, I always mean to read more than I actually do. Still, here are a few books I genuinely enjoyed:
Things I’ve Built
OMG App →
In 2021, I created the OMG App – a mobile glossary with 300+ online marketing terms designed to make learning clearer and less overwhelming. It was a fun project, and even though it’s not active today, it remains one of my favorite things I built.
