Back at the beginning of 2023, I began a new chapter in my journey with investments, a field I’ve been exploring since my mid-twenties. My past experiences with personal portfolio management and diving into startup investments in 2021 set the stage for a bold new venture: the world of property.
That’s how I found myself co-founding a company:
Our first undertaking was no small feat. We took on two properties, and after a rollercoaster of efforts, we finally held the keys in our hands by August 2023.
The process of getting these properties up and running was nothing short of an intense marathon.
Imagine days stretching into nights, with 16-17 hours of work, orchestrating 150+ orders from 15-20 websites, and tackling a never-ending list of tasks. It’s a story filled with trials and triumphs, one I’ll delve into another time.
In September 2023, our properties were ready to shine. The results so far:
- We managed nearly 150 bookings.
- Occupancy rate of over 85%.
- Superhosts on Airbnb.
- Four out of our six listings are “Guest Favorite” badge on Airbnb.
- And most importantly – profitability right from the first month.
So while we’re proud of what we have achieved so far, this year is shaping up to be a VERY exciting year with an aggressive growth trajectory, and I can’t wait to share more with you.
