I was interviewed for a business magazine a couple of years ago when the interviewer asked me about a struggle I faced as a co-founder and manager.
I paused to think about it.
And then thought about it more.
And then even more.
So the journalist then asked “So no struggles?”
And I immediately replied, literally laughing out loud, “Quite on the contrary – every day is a struggle!”.
That hasn’t changed.
Building and managing a business is hard, and I don’t have a magic potion to suggest on how to make it easier.
What I can say is that acknowledging it instead of unnecessarily glamorizing it is the first step to truly enjoying this fascinating journey.
