This sentence has stayed with me for years because it resonated deeply with how many of us don’t acknowledge our wins, don’t toast to achievements, don’t stop to savor a moment of success – especially the entrepreneurs among us.
You put in the effort, the hours, the heart – you deserve to recognize that.
Acknowledging your professional results (God knows I’m really bad at that) and those of your team matters.
So, I’m no Viola Davis, and that’s definitely not an Oscar, but I’m extremely grateful to Airbnb for recognizing the work I have been putting into bringing the London hosts community together.
