As of this morning, I’ve published 127 TikTok videos, repurposed 63 of them to Instagram Reels and 36 to YouTube Shorts.
My most viewed Short has over 4,600 views.
The same video on TikTok has 10 times less views, at 450 and on Reels you ask?
It has more than 15,700 views. Yes, you read that last one right.
My 3rd most viewed Reel is at more than 10,500 views.
The same video on TikTok has little over 2,000 views, and on Shorts it has 53 views. Yes, you read that last one right.
All views are organic.
I’ve already written about how TikTok is changing the social media landscape, but what hasn’t changed is that the platforms ARE different. Trying things all the time is critical for your success.
One other thing, unlike my approach for any other type of content on social media, in this case, you can and should repurpose your short-form-TikTok-like videos to other platforms.
