3 reasons you should start creating content on LinkedIn

If you’re a business professional and you’re not yet not on LinkedIn or on LinkedIn but not actively creating content on the platform, here are three reasons why you should start.

1. LinkedIn may not be the largest social media platform but it is the largest professional network in the world, with 930 million members.

2. It is THE platform decision-makers use. One way or another, the people you want to reach, either as an employed professional or a business owner, are likely there. Appearing on their feed is a great way to get noticed.

3. Compared to other platforms, the organic exposure opportunity is big. You can extend your reach far beyond your connections.

One important disclaimer – like everything in life, there are no shortcuts to any place worth going. Don’t expect instant miracles as soon as you start creating content. Building your presence on LinkedIn takes time and effort and sometimes (most of the time) a LOT of it.

However, in the long term, it could turn out to be one of the best investments you’ve made from a professional point of view.
