The end of the year can feel like…
One moment, you’re thinking “Wow, this year really tested me”.
And the next, you’re hit with “But wow, I’m so thankful for this and that”.
Over time, I’ve tried to weave gratitude into my everyday life – both personally and professionally.
Here’s what’s worked for me:
At work, we started a simple yet meaningful tradition. During our weekly team lunches, each of us writes down something or someone we’re grateful for from the past week. At the end of the year, those notes get handed back – a little time capsule of positivity and appreciation for the moments and people who made a difference.
At home, we began a ritual a few years back: every evening at the dinner table, we’d take turns sharing one thing we were grateful for that day. What began as a family practice soon expanded – friends and guests joined in, and eventually, we found ourselves doing it everywhere.
Gratitude isn’t about grand gestures. It’s about finding and honoring the small, everyday moments – especially when things feel tough.
Happy Thanksgiving 🤍
