A few people* asked me this year why I’ve gone a bit off the grid on social media.
It’s not a proper excuse, but the truth is I’ve been busy building another kind of page – and it’s been (and still is) a steep learning curve.
An Airbnb profile isn’t exactly a social media page, but in many ways, it works like one:
- Your “content” (photos, descriptions) does the selling.
- Reviews are the social proof that convince potential guests.
- Both potential and current guests can DM you.
And at its core, it’s built around people.
Without a doubt, understanding communication on social platforms has helped me tremendously in shaping this profile.
Starting from scratch wasn’t easy, but it’s been a valuable experience – one I’m glad to share with anyone who’s curious.
*Thank you for noticing and caring – it humbles me, and I’m very grateful for that.
