The other side of vending machine

“Digital marketing channels are not vending machines” 

That’s something I like to say and I believe it’s pretty straightforward. 

But the other way around is also the case:

If you pause your marketing, significantly reduce your investments in building your brand, choose trends over building awareness for the long term – you probably won’t see what you lose right away.

You will benefit from what you’ve done to that point, until, well –

You won’t.
