Two rules about numbers

I have two rules when it comes to sharing figures, statistics, or any numbers with an audience (and in life, too):

First, I always rely on a trustworthy source. This is crucial for keeping your credibility intact as a presenter (and as a person).

Second, I make sure to give context for the numbers. Presenting figures without any comparison or background can make it tough for the audience to see their importance and really get your message.

I have two rules when presenting figures, statistics, or any other numbers to an audience (and in life): First, I always cite a reliable source (the first result you find on Reddit isn’t one). It goes without saying that this impacts your credibility as a presenter (and as a person). Second, I put the numbers in perspective. Presenting a number without context doesn’t allow the listener to compare and understand its relative scale, making it difficult for them to understand your message. #statistics #stats #figures #speaker #presentation #chenhindi
