Google’s announcement last month (July 22nd, 2024) that they are abandoning the plan to eliminate third-party cookies in Chrome – which they’ve been working on since 2020 – is a good time to re-send the memo that remarketing (aka retargeting) is a highly effective digital marketing strategy.
Remarketing works because most users don’t make a purchase on their first visit to your website or app. Repeated exposure builds familiarity, reinforces your messaging, and increases the chances of conversion.
@chen_hindi Google abandoning its plan to eliminate third-party cookies in Chrome a few weeks ago is a great reminder for marketers that one of the most effective marketing methods is still remarketing. It’s effective because most users don’t make a buying decision on their first visit to your website or app. Repeated exposure builds familiarity, reinforces messaging, and increases the likelihood of conversion. @Google #googlechrome #remarketing #retargeting #digitalmarketing #chenhindi
