It’s been 11 days since all my social media accounts went radio silent.
I haven’t sent any emails to my list.
I haven’t created any content on my website.
I’m just at a loss for words.
I’m still trying to wrap my head around the magnitude of the events that have happened and what’s to come.
I did want to share two things in these devastating times that perhaps offer some hope.
Firstly, the supportive, kind, and caring messages pouring in from everywhere, including but not exclusive to the UK, France, South Africa, the US, India, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, and, of course, Mauritius. Some of them are below. Words are insufficient to describe my gratitude to the people who took the time to show their concern, sorrow, and love. Your messages mean the world.
Secondly, the Israeli citizens who have created armies of volunteers who work tirelessly – for the families of those who lost everything, the soldiers, and the families of the hostages. “Inspiration” feels like a tiny word to describe what it does to my soul.
I’m still unsure about finding the right words and content these days, but I wanted to start by sharing that.
I hope for better days, for everyone, to come as quickly as possible.
